KASPER can display a Kansas Department of Corrections offender photograph, and KDOC lists photographs among public offender information. That image belongs to the state record. Its database-entry date may not be the date the photo was taken, and it may differ from the Dickinson booking image. The safest description stays narrow: the image is the photograph associated with a named booking or KDOC record as of the source date. It is not a present-day portrait or a complete account of the case. That wording protects accuracy while allowing a family member, record requester, or party to a legal process to identify the right official file.
When requesting a correction, cite the booking number, source URL, and the specific field believed wrong. Supply the official order or record that supports the correction. A precise request gives the custodian a verifiable issue and avoids asking staff to erase or reinterpret an entire case history.
